Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you use our website or book a repair with us.

Last updated: September 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Willowdale Appliance Repair website and the appliance repair services we provide. By booking a service, using our website, or otherwise engaging us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Our services

Willowdale Appliance Repair provides diagnosis and repair of household appliances, including refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, stoves and cooktops, within North York and the surrounding area. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service for any appliance we consider unsafe or beyond economical repair.

3. Booking and scheduling

When you request service, we will confirm an appointment window by phone, text or email. We make every effort to arrive within the scheduled window, but arrival times may be affected by earlier jobs, traffic or weather. If we are running late, we will do our best to let you know.

4. Quotes, pricing and payment

We provide a quote for the cost of repair before carrying out the work. A diagnostic or service-call fee may apply and will be disclosed in advance. Prices may change if additional faults are found once the appliance is opened, in which case we will inform you before continuing. Payment is due on completion of the repair unless otherwise agreed, by the methods we accept at the time of service.

5. Warranty

Completed repairs are covered by our warranty as described on our Warranty page. The warranty applies only to the specific repair performed and the parts we supplied, and is subject to the exclusions set out there.

6. Cancellations and rescheduling

Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled in line with our Cancellation Policy. Please give as much notice as possible so we can offer the slot to another customer.

7. Your responsibilities

To help us complete your repair safely and efficiently, please provide safe access to the appliance, accurate information about the fault, and a responsible adult present during the visit where required. You are responsible for backing up or removing any valuables, food or personal items in or around the appliance before we arrive.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Willowdale Appliance Repair is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from our services, including spoiled food or loss of use. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Third-party trademarks

Brand and model names referenced on our website, such as manufacturer names, are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe the appliances we service. We are an independent repair service and are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by any manufacturer unless expressly stated.

10. Website content

The content on this website is provided for general information only and may include estimates, such as typical repair prices and error-code meanings, that vary by model and situation. It does not constitute a guarantee of any specific outcome or price.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one posted on this page, with the date shown above.
